Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Can a Petitioner Violate Her Own Order for Protection?
If I have been awarded a TPO and am granted permission to contact respondent for financial matters, can he claim that I violated the TPO if I call, text or email him? what if I meet him for counseling?

He can CLAIM anything he wants. Don't get yourself into a he-said-she-situation. Always take a witness. As to phone calls, record at least your side of every call. As to text and emails, always keep copies. Best advice: consult with a local attorney to review the terms of the TPO.
