Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Pregnancy

my daughter, age 19 has become pregnant. She had two partners, but not at the same time. She told both boys, age 21 that they could be the father. The first one reacted with his parents at our doorstep, stating they demanded an abortion.

--name removed--daughter didn't expect that reaction, and since has determined based on the dates that the second boy is in fact the father of the child. The first boy now is of course angry, and his parents have stepped in again stating they will sue--name removed--(her mother) for mental distress. do they have a case?

Re: Pregnancy

There is no way to tell if anyone has a case here without reviewing the whole situation. Consult with a local attorney.

Re: Pregnancy

The three children are adults (though obviously not responsible adults). You don't state facts to show the parents are harmed, beyond getting the news that their son is one of the irresponsible people (whether or not he turns out to be the father). Further, if your daughter gave the news to their son, he would be the one to bring such a claim (if it existed).
