pre-nup?

i have my own business and keep my finances to myself....I currently live with a soon to be spouse and want to know if things go ''sour'' will she be able to take me to the cleaners? she is employed and is very independent? please advise

Generally, whatever you bring to the marriage will remain yours. However, you should consult with a local attorney about a pre-nup.

You would likely be well-served to do a prenuptial agreement. Remember that both parties need a lawyer in the process, as if she is unrepresented, a court is less likely to uphold it. Contact me if we can assist you.
