Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I previously asked what do I file or do (i.e. letter, notice of deliquency, etc.) as noncustodial parent only paid half of child support due. However this is the first time he has been delinquent but as he is unemployed I expect he will be short additional months as well so I just want to know how to make note of what he owes so there is a tally somewhere in case file of how much he owes. Not ready for garnishment or contempt at this time but think it should be documented somewhere each month.

You have two choices:

(1) The less than perfect one, but better than nothing -

Keep a log book of all the payments received and not received. Make an entry on each due date showing what you did or did not receive, and if you received something, the method of payment.

or

(2) Turn the case over to the state. They will keep records.
