Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Privacy Act

I am wondering if individuals are subject to the privacy act? My soon to be former spouse is using emails ot give people my home and work addresses to people I have never met. I was just wondering if this is a violation of the privacy act? Please let me know and if it is, where I can get a copy of the act to read for myself.

Thank You,

Mark Villegas

Re: Privacy Act

You should consult with a local attorney. There are several "privacy acts". Since your divorce is not yet final, you can ask the court to address this issues and enter a restraining order (injunction) against her conduct.
