Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am in the process of a divorce. My husband moved out of the house and I am currently in the house with my 2 yr old son. We have been in the house 2 yrs. The house and mortgage is in my husbands name not mine. I DO NOT WANT the house, I want to walk away and leave the house and down scale to an apt. Will I be leagally responsible if I leave the house and tell him it is his. ?

It's not that simple. You need a lawyer. While the lender may not be able to pursue you, you cannot get a divorce without the issue of property being settled either by agreement or trial. This is not a do-it-yourself project, especially with a child. Don't delay retaining counsel.
