process of divorce

What is the process for divorce from start to finish using lawyers? I have had a lawyer that has left me in the dark about some things and my divorce started over a year ago. We only have one temporary order that the opposing counsel wrote up. Most of the decisions or agreements have been made between my husband and I out side of court and with out lawyers, but this is an uncontesed divorce due to visitation of our daughter. Just wanted to know the ''step by step'' process; going through discovery, etc.

Only your lawyer could answer what is happening in your case, but although you describe it as uncontested, it is obviously contested.
