Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Property

My husband owned property in Fla prior to our marriage. The property was re-financed during our marriage. The loan currently does not list my name. Because of the re-finance, what are my obligations, etc. as far as this property.? (I remember signing some paperwork during the re-finance, but apparently it was not anything that made be liable because the loan does not list my name.)

Thank you!

Re: Property

You are asking for a guess about what you signed, when it appears you do not even know. Read the documents.

Re: Property

You probably are not obligate. I say "probably" because the "signing some paperwork during the refinance" is troublesome. All the documents need to be reviewed. Consult with a local attorney.

Re: Property

To answer I'd need to see the paperwork and also know the context you are asking in. Are you worried about divorce? Bankruptcy? His estate if he dies? Without knowing there is no way to answer you properly.
