Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Question regarding Timing

A final court order from Aug 2006 states I have to pay a certain amount of money each month for 18 months to my ex. beginning the first of the following month (Sept)..in that regard, the ex was to provide me with a trust account number and bank name to deposit these payments via money order or cash. That's what she wanted and had put in the order. It clearly states this on the order and that she is to provide that info to me in a reasonable and timely manner. She has all of my contact info, telephone and home address. It is now March and she has yet to have provided this info neither to me directly nor to her attorney to give to me. Has she given up her right to this money at this point? The money was for 1/2 of a medical bill regarding our child. Thanks.

Re: Question regarding Timing

She may not have given up her right to the money, but she may be in contempt of court. Consult with a local attorney.
