Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

i received full custody of my son a year ago due to abuse by his mother. she carries his health insurance and pays for it. he attends therapy twice a week. the way the payment works with therapy is i have to pay up front the full cost of every visit then they bill insurance. i recently found out my ex wife has been receiving reimbursement checks for almost a year now. she has yet to also pay her 20% on any of his medical costs. my question is can a judge order her to pay those reimbursement checks back or is it a waste of time. how do I go about it?

You can file a contempt for nonpayment of the 20%. I assume you have provided her verification of the cost. In that action I would also request reimbursement of the monies she has collected from the insurance company. I am providing this response without having reviewed the order in regard to the medical. I would not try this on your own. I suggest you speak with an attorney who can review the document(s) and advise you on how best to proceed. I suggest utilizing his/her services and request reimbursement of attorney fees in the contempt motion.
