Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am recently divorced. I pay $633 a month in child support. My child is an 8 yo girl. She has been admitted to a long term care facility for troubled kids called Laurel Heights in Atlanta. Do I still have to pay my wife child support while my daughter is not in her care?

Probably. No one herecan tell you since we have not read your court order. But in all likelihood unless your court order says that support stops in the situation you mention, it does continue. If you are unsure, the person who will know is your lawyer from the divorce. I assume you used one, so now would be a good time to call him.
