Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I recently found out that my son is not my biological child. My ex wife had him 2 years into our 16 year marriage . I signed his birth certificate and raised him as my own. We recently divorced and I been ordered to pay child support. My "son" has some serious medical conditions and although I don't want to be removed completely from his life, I think his biological father should be found and "forced" to take responsiblity for him especially considering his medical condition. Can I take my ex-wife back to court and have the biological father ordered to take responsibility for this child? Is there is chance for this being successful case?

The time you could have raised this issue was in your divorce. As a general rule, if you do not challenge paternity in a divorce you cannot challenge it later.
