My husband signed a document stating he iwll still continue to pay the mortage of our home after i assumed the mortgage, due a 10000 usd settlement pending, mortgage fell through nd he now wants home back in his name to refinance i am reluctant becuase he signed to paying for the morgage even after i have the mortgage in my name becuase he owes me the settlment. My ? is should i put the home back in both our names even now since he has remarried and he have not given me the money which he has signed to. what are the implications for me.

Re: Re-divorce

What you need to do is to talk to a lawyer to review the whole situation. Don't sign anything until you get legal advice.

Re: Re-divorce

Your post is confusing. It sounds like you were divorced and the only things you can enforce from a divorce will be things (1) in the Judge's order or (2) things in an agreement that the Judge approved in the final decree.

The lawyer who handled your divorce for you is the person best equipped to assist you. Call him or her.
