Ex remarried w/o us getting divorce 1ST

My 1st ex and I were married in 1987, and we seperated in 1989, but never divorced because he disappeared and was assumed dead. I remarried in 1992 after my 1st ex's family members told me he died from a drug overdose. I divorced my 2nd husband a few years ago. My 1st ex remarried 2 years ago. I am now engaged again to be married, what steps do I need to take prior to getting married to resolve any legal obligaations during my 1st marriage?
