how to remove my name off birth certificate

I later found out that I am not the the father of one of my two son's from my ex wife. How do I get my name removed from the birth certificate. He is 6 years old. Will I still be finacially responsible for him since we were married at the time of birth and since I singned the birth certificate thinking he was mine.- Child & mother lives in Georgia and moves often cause she is in military and she has remarried. I live in Louisiana

As a general rule, any child born during a marriage is yours, unless proven otherwise in your divorce. I'd have to see your paperwork, but in most cases you cannot pursue a paternity case after the divorce.
