Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
self representation
my wife is in the process of taking her ex-husband to court for visitation, she originally allowed him to have custody of her two boys, because we were moving to georgia, and her family lives in fla, where the kids and her ex lives, now he is refusing her to see the kids, i have already gone thru the divorce/visitation routine, and i am quite familiar with legal terms and proceedings, my wife doesn't really know her legal rights, and what to say,or not say. we really do not feel the need for an attorney right now since it seems pretty cut and dry, she wants me to be her ''legal advisor'' in court, stand next to her, and if she feels like she doesn't understand something, she can ask me, how do we tell the courts, or whomever that i (her husband) am acting as her ''legal advisor'' and how can i be able to represent her without his attorney asking me to leave the court room???????? please advise as to how we approach situation????????

Re: self representation
The probelme is that you cannot "represent" if you are not licensed to practice law in the appropriate jurisdiction. Despite your "experience" with the system, I seriously doubt that either you are your wife are ready to stand toe to toe with an experiecned lawyer in the court room. Lawyers are trained not only in the law concerning the subject matter but also the law concerneing how a case is presented in a court room, especially the rules of evidence. I recommend that your wife retain an attorney and let him or her handle the case.
