Restraining Order

My sister's boyfriend will not move out of her house. Her name is on the lease his is not. He has been unfaithful to her and verbally abusive. What can she do to get rid of him. Is a restraining order the way to go? Thanks in advance!

She can file a dispossessory action to get him evicted while, at the same time, she can file for a restraining order in Superior Court. Also, she may be able to file a Family Violence petition, depending on the facts. Consult with a local attorney.
