Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I,m retired from the army ,my wife and I have 3children together. we are not devoirsed. is it legal that she has recieved 55% ofy retirement(when I got out of the army after 22 years of service,I retunred to my home town to take care of my 80 year mother.I was informed later that this is child support.
