need to know my rights to child support & other things
I would just like to know what my rights are to any type of suport,child support, and visitation.I also need to know what rights the babys daddt has. we were together and dating 6months and I became preg.I am 5months and was involved in a domestic dispute with him to were I ended up getting beat and having to got to the hospital. I pressed charges against him and he did get temporarally locked up but I need to know if I have any type of rights to support because he made me quit my job. plus I just need to know what my rights are as a single unwed mother tomy child and what my rights are with child support and visitaton issue. As well as what rights does he have as the babys father.by the way he is still married to someone else in NC because the divorce papers either haven't been drawn up or completed. Please help.

You would need to file a paternity action against the father to have him legally recognized as the father, and then seek child support form the courts.
