The rights to custody for an unmarried father of a couples new baby.

I hsve recently been blessed with a baby girl. Me and the mother are not quite working out, and I am scared that she will leave. I was wondering what rights an unmarried father had to custody, visitation, any advise you could give I would greatly appreciate.

You can file a petition to legitimate the baby, establishing custody, visitation, child support, etc. You should not try this yourself; there is too much at stake. Consult with a local attorney.
