Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Hello. I'm currently separated from my spouse and want to adopt a baby overseas ( non Hague). However, due to my marital status, I am unable to adopt. I would like to know how I can bring the baby to the US with a temporary visa until I can sort out my marital situation.

Sit down with an adoption attoprney, but I suspect with a fluid marital situation, the adoption and visa plans both will fail.
