If an greement was notarized be fore the parties signed, can it be voided?

If a notary notarized something before it was signed and that could be proven, the notary signature would be void, the notary could be stripped of his commission, and the notary could face fines, jail or other punishment. It would be very hard to prove unless someone happened to copy the papers with the notary seal and no signatures.
