Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I just got served petition for modification for child support. The dad recently got ssdi and has been paying child support up till then and was on track through state. The modification is asking for me (custodial parent) to pay back the 23 months of ssdi I got that would have been child support amount. Will I have to pay this? Different states involved in this. I reside in Ga.

Get a lawyer. No one can tell you what will happen without a thorough review of the paperwork. Indeed, we don't even know what state it was filed in (and that is the state where you need to hiure counsel).
