Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I had to sign over my guardianship rights of my two children over to their Aunt because I had an addiction to narcotics! I am one year and three mths clean! I now want to get my children back and their Aunt is also ready for me to get them back! Do I still have to petion the courts? I was told that her and i could download guardianship forms off line and submit them to the courts? Is this true? Do I still need to get a lawyer if its uncontested?

You need a lawyer and it takes a court order. Given your history, your case may NOT be uncontested.
