Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I signed an agreement for modification of child support and custody today at a Georgia court. I did not see the judge. The more I think about it, can I take it back and ask to see the judge?

Generally, no (although you need to show the document to a lawyer to be sure it is a final settlement and doesn't have a way to challenge it. Be aware that even if you can there are time limits for appeals that are short, and that you may not be able to do so),

You are an adult and should know that you are bound by the contracts and court agreements you sign.

Also be aware that if you make what is a frivolous challenge, you could be made to pay the other side's legal fees and costs.

The next time you have a court case, the proper thing to do is see a lawyer before you do anything. You have learned that lesson, unfortunately, the hard way.
