Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Not signing

in a room with both lawyers present financial terms for divorce were agreed upon. I went and signed the document, now husband is saying he is not going to sign, just doesn't want to. This has been going on 6 months. Is there anything that can be done to force him to sign. What should be my next step

Re: Not signing

An agreement reached by the parties can be enforced but it must meet three requirements

1. The agreement must not be so one sided to shock the conscious

2. The agreement must not have reached by fraud, duress or other misconduct

3. There must not ba change of condition that would make the agreement unfair.

You would just need to file a motion to enforce the agreement. You could even subpoeana the attorneys to testify and recover your fees.
