Simple divorce costing too much, how to end?
We were married for 12 years. No kids. I have spent more than 12k on my atty. We've been through mediation. My ''ex'' won't accept the fact that we are getting divorced, and is dragging this out too long. We have offered far greater than 1/2 of what little we have. She now says she have character witnesses and a trial by jury. The expenses are killing me and it's foolish nonsense. Is there any remedy to stop this insanity?

You have a lawyer, so your questions should be directed to him. Since your wife does not agree with you, you do not have a simple divorce, and whether you agree or not, she obviously finds your settlement proposals insufficient. In those cases, either you accept her proposals to end the case and cut legal fees, or you go to trial. I am sure your lawyer has already gone over both options.
