Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

my sister and her exhusband went to mediation to resolve some additional issues after the divorce. They both signed the papers and everything is agreed on. Can they fill out the needed paperwork, such as change of child support and primary custody as outlined in the mediation report without having to use an attorney?

No.

You can't amend a divorce decree without a court case. Any paperwork they sign is meaningless unles a judge approves it.

And it would be a huge mistake to do that case without counsel to be sure it is done properly.
