Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My son married a girl who was in the military in North Carolina in a civil ceremony. She didn't tell her parents they were married. Instead she announced their engagement she wanted a big religious ceremony and knew they would not pay for it if they knew they were already married. They ultimately would go with the parents to a court house in Georgia and obtain another marriage license and marry again in Georgia. Now they are no longer happy and headed for divorce. Which if any of the marriages will take president or is it null and void?

You can't get married twice. The original marriage is valid and the only way to end it is divorce.
