Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

my son was married 9 years ago. He was diagnosed shortly after that with Bipolar Disorder 1. His wife divorced him and got custody of their son. He has no rights to see him, yet has paid all but 200.00 of his disability check for the past year. He has just now been reevaluated by child support in Ohio and now gets 500.00. She allows no contact, no phone calls, no visitation. Wondering if there is anything we can do to get some kind of visitation, even supervised. He tried once before but the cost of attorneys and traveling became overwhelming. He has been hospitalized and treated for his disease for 8 years. Just cannot understand how she can keep him from seeing or talking to his child

If he wants visitation he needs a lawyer.

Whether he will get visitation, even with a lawyer depends on whether his medical condition presents a danger to the child.

If you want to help him, help him pay for legal counsel.
