Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My son is 13 years old, he was adopted in 1999. His adopted parents treat him unfairly, they are constantly yelling at him and insulting him. He wants to come and live with me but, his parents would not go for it, my question is, is it possible for me to get custody of him again with this situation?

Until your son is 14 years of age, the State of Georgia will not recognize his desire to live with you. Even at the age of 14, Georgia Courts will not always honor the wishes of the child. At the end of the day, the standard is what is "in the best interests of the child." Once your child was adopted, your parental rights terminated. It will be very difficult to get those back. If you feel as though your child is subject to abuse, you may consider reporting it to Department of Children Services. Of course, hiring a Georgia family law attorney to represent you would be the best place to start.
