Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Hi my spouse and I want to file for divorce. I live abroad so my spouse has agreed to file in person. I signed and mailed him the petition, verification, ack of service, and settlement agreement. Is there anything additional. Also I used my aunt's address in North Carolina in case anything needs to be sent to me as I was told international addresses won't work? Will I need to travel to the US to close the matter despite my spouse being in agreement? We just want to put an end to this situation.

Most pro se divorces go very badly, so expect problems. If you want things to go right, use a lawyer. And if you falsely used an address in NC but are overseas, that alone may sabotage the case. Call a lawyer to draft proper paperwork and do the case right.
