Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Spouse missing for 5 years

My spouse has left me 5 years ago. In the meanwhile I have moved from my home country to the USA and have found out that a divorce granted here would be accepted in my home country. I have tried to trace him trough the years and can obtain proof of this. His family deny any knowledge of his whereabouts. What are my options and what would the financial implications be?
