Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Spring visitation to non-custodial parent

My daughter is spending spring break with her father in NY. My understanding was that he was going to fly down to Atlanta to fly back with her. He gave me a complete itineray of their trip with flight numbers and times, hotels and phone numbers, and where and when they would be a designated places for the week. I found out from my daughter that she would be flying up with a female friend of his (one whom I don't really know well). He did not say anything to me about my daughter flying to NY with a person I don't know well. By the time I found out about the flight arrangements, it was too late for me to say no to the trip without ruining the experience for my daughter. Is there any way that I can prevent this from happening again? Is this an issue that I need to bring up to my attorney?

Thank you

Re: Spring visitation to non-custodial parent

You should talk about this with your attorney. What you can do about this depends on the provisions of your divorce final. If this contingency is not provided for, you need to address this issue. It is not safe for the children to be around strage persons in airports these days.
