State of Geogia - Me Ex got remarried - How do I go about requesting stoppage of alimony. (Note My Ex lives in Virginia now)

Decree says:The husband shall pay to the wife the sum of $500.00 per month as periodic alimany for a period of (12) month begining with the first day of the month following this decree.

It may NOT stop. Whether it stops or not depends on whether or not remarriage was addressed. Did your lawyer address it? (You did have one, didn't you?)
