In the state of Georgia, do you have to leave an adpoted child anything in a will?

While the answer is no, be aware that if you disinherit a minor they can get part of your estate anyway, and if it is an adult, you may set up a will contest. Talk to a lawyer about options and alternatives if you are thinking of this.
