Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Across State Line

I have been notified that I will be receiving a summons for depositions in a sep mant/divorce case which is in the state court of Mississippi. What is the law on that issue? Do I have to appear for depositions as a witness in the case?

Re: Across State Line

I haven't researched this question in quite a while but I don't think they can force you to go to another state. However, since you know it is coming, you should consult with a local attorney who may charge you for his/her time to do a little research.
