statuatory rape laws

if someone is 18 yrs. old can they legally date a 15yr old without bad legal consequences?

While "dating" isn't illegal, much of what might happen on a date would be a crime (contributing to the delinquency of a minor).

If sex is involved, it's statutory rape.

Either way, the 18 year old should expect to end up in jail.
