My 84 year old received a subpeona notice to be at a deposition that has nothing to do with her and she is too ill to go. this legal stuff that involves the abductuion of mty son by his father has her quite ill. Can she step out of this if her doctor writes to the judge of her health issues.

She must either comply with the subpoena or take steps to have it quashed (i.e., made to go away). If you would like to discuss further, please feel free to give me a call. A letter from her doctor probably will not suffice.
