Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Can you sue the other woman

I have been seperated for 14 months. My husband has been seeing another woman for over two years. I read about a woman going to court against the other woman. Can you really do that? At the time of our seperation, I had no idea there was anything wrong with our marriage, except a little distance between us.

We have four chilren and have been married for 17 years. What can I do to let women, or men, know that this kind of behavior needs to stop?

Re: Can you sue the other woman

I would suggest filing an action for divorce if the marriage is truly unreconcilable. I would not recommend any sort of revenge tactics to "get back" at the mistress who may not have even known that your husband was married. Furthermore, I do not know of any such laws that would allow you to do that in the area of Family Law.
