Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Temporary Child Support Order

According to the mother of my husband's child, a court ordered a temporary child support order in October of 2006. We never received a copy of that order and there is not a copy on file with DFCS. What is the procedure for temp orders and should it be filed for DFCS?

Thanks,

Re: Temporary Child Support Order

If the order exists, it will be on file in either the Superior Court or Juvenile Court clerk's office.
