Temporary Custody Order for One Month

When an order is in place for temporary custody for the mother to become stable, do you need to prove that the baby is better off with his mom or can you take it back to court when she becomes stable?

I am not sure that I follow the question but to allow the mother to take custody again one should petition the court to modify the temporary order.
