Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

termination of rights

I failed to mention in a earlier question that I asked about getting biological father to give up rights so that my husband can continue raising our child as his own without any worries. The 2 year old that we have was born out of wedlock in the state of Georgia. Is that going to have any affect on things. There has been no dna test or legitimization of our our daughter and my husband wants her to have his last name. (She currently has mine). Is it still gonna be a lengthy process or can We just go have her name changed on her birth certificate.???

Re: termination of rights

Your question was already answered completely before. Nothing you posted changes the answer. The only way to do this is via adoption, and the complexity depends on the cooperation of the father. You need to retain experienced counsel at this point.
