Travel Rights for Non-Custodial Parent

I am the mother and physical/legal custodian of two girls, ages 5 and 7. Their father has very liberal visitation. Recently I expressed a desire for them to not be traveling via airplane for the time being. He said ''he would do whatever he wants to do'' when he has the girls. Our court order does not specify whether or not he can leave the state or country without ''my permission''. I have not gotten his cooperation in leaving a contact phone number when he takes them out of town, state, etc. I don't want to go back to court over something that should not even be an issue. Do I have any control when it comes to requiring a contact phone number when he takes them somewhere? Does he have to notify me when he has plans to take them out of the court's jurisdiction? Our divorce was final on Feb. 14, so they are no longer in the court's custody, they are in mine. Any information you can provide me would be appreciated.

Your post presents an impossible situation. That is, you say you don't want to go back to court but, on the other hand, you want to know what "control" you have. The answer is that you have no control other than through the court that granted the divorce via contempt, if that is appropriate. You may also want to file for a modification of the divorce decree.
