Unpaid Debt

My divorce decree required my ex-husband to pay the balance on a credit card he used during our marriage(divorce was final 7/98). The credit card company is now suing me for the balance(I was the primary card-holder, he was the secondary). I was unaware that he had not paid this debt. I have approximately 2 weeks to file an answer. What are my options? Is there any way I can salvage my credit?

You can file a contempt action against your ex-spouse for nonpayment of the credit card balance.
