Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am a US veteran with only a veteran id card. I have been trying to obtain a replacement birth certificate due to my current one not being in complete tack anymore. I do not have a state issued id and am having a hard time gettin one from my dmv with only having a veteran id and no birth certificate. Vital Statisics will not accept my military id either so I am stuck. Any suggestions?

I also live in Georgia now and was born in Florida.

Since you posted in the Georgia part of a website in a category for divorce lawyers, it is unlikely anyone here will know. Repost in the Florida part of LawGuru in the appropriate category.

Since you're a vet, your Congressman would certainly help you if you'd call, as would the military.
