Visitation Interpretation
Ex-husband and self have joint custodym,but Mother has physical custody. Visitation is specific in outlined weekend and holiday visitation. Ex-husband's interpretation of reasonable is used constantly in wanting additional visitation with son.
Example: Ex-husband called babysitter and asked to see son before he left to go out of town. Ex-husband did not notify mother of such request. Baby sitter telephoned mother after visit to let me know. Ex-husband says that this is REASONABLE visitation.
Should'nt REASONABLE visitation mean anything that is agreed upon by both parties other than what is outlined in the order.
I receive constant threats of taking me back to court because I will not give reasonable visitation.
Please help!

Normally, visiation is whatever is agreed upon by the parties, but if the parties cannot agree, then visitaion should be by the terms and times in the order or agreement. As a bit of advice, I would allow him to have as liberal visiation. If he wants to see the child during the time while the baby sitter has the child, allow him to see the child. The psychologists I deal with say that generally it is best for the children to see and spend as much time as possible with both parents. Also, it will show that you are the reasonbable parent when you need to fight him about the really serious issues.
