Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Visitation right

When I pay child support to the parent do I have visitation right? Does the state law have a code for this?

If I do, will I have to go to the house and see or get the children or will she have to bring them to me?

Re: Visitation right

I assume you are the natural parent, and you have not lost your parental rights. If that is so, then you have visitation rights without paying child support. Child support and visitation are not mutually dependent. If you do not have court ordered visitation, and the custodial parent will not voluntarily allow visitation, then you must petition the court to have your visitation rights reduced to writing.
