Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I am wanting to get a divorce and my husband wants to work it out, however I see no working it out because we have tried and tried. He has told me that he will keep my child from me if I do not try to work things out with him. What should I do in this case?

The message that he has sent you, unfortunately, is that he will use the child as a weapon in the divorce a you'll need to be prepared with a lawyer.
You have been sent a message that your husband willl attempt to make the case difficult, and you should immediately hire a lawyer to protect yourself and the child from his bullying. A lawyer will help you get appropriate custodial arrangements for the child and otherwise work towards a resolution of the case. You are entitled to a divorce even if he does not want one.
