Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

a week ago i went to the dhr office in albany ga to open a case to review the child support and modify it since i do not have the income i once did and when my ex wife got the papers, she said she is getting an attorny and taking me back to court and she is not going to let the state do the case. i originally went throught the state bc i do not have the money for an attorney much less the child support so will i be able to represent myself or will i be forced to hire an attorny? any advice would be wonderful. it has been almost 2 years since the previous modification and i was under the impression she could not take me back to court that quickly.
